PTSA is an organization dedicated to supporting a positive culture and climate throughout NLMS for all our students, staff, parents, and the surrounding community. We are always grateful for our new members and this spring we are looking for all new board members to start fresh in the fall for the 2022-2023 school year. With the support of our PTSA members and board, it helps us continue to provide informative and useful programs just as we have done in the past, and look forward to continuing in the future! We provide grants for teachers who are interested in developing new classroom programs, exciting after-school clubs, student store activities, etc. We will vote in our new board members at our end of year NLMS PTSA meeting on Wednesday - June 8th, NLMS Library, 4:00-5:00pm.

If you are interested in holding a NLMS PTSA Board Member position, please contact Karen Tadio at

We Love Our NLMS Volunteers!

They are valued partners in the education of Lake Stevens’ students. We encourage family and community members, as well as local businesses, to consider volunteering. When families partner with their school communities, children and the school both benefit. Parents serve as role models as they demonstrate the importance of community participation and numerous studies have shown that parent involvement is a protective factor against adolescent tobacco use, depression, eating disorders, academic struggles, and other problems. By staying involved with your child/or teenager, you can be a source of support, create a climate for discussing tough issues, and serve as the most important partner your student will ever have!
